“Ace Of Spades” von Motörhead wurde zum sogenannten Signature Song der Band und steht auch für Lenny Kilmisters Standardansage von Konzerten: We Are Motörhead and we play Rock’n’Roll“.

Dieser Kultsong wurde 1980 veröffentlicht und avancierte sofort zur Hymne, in der Kilmister wohl seine berühmteste Textzeile sang: „You know I’m born to lose, and gambling’s for fools, but that’s the way I like it baby, I don’t wanna live forever and don’t forget the joker….”.

Auch hier ist das Jubiläum – 40 Jahre “Ace Of Spades” Anlass, eine Special Box zu veröffentlichen, erhältlich ab 30. Oktober.
